Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
dvGarage, Inc. uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) server software to protect you when you buy goods or services directly from dvGarage, Inc. so that you do not have to worry about credit card safety. SSL is the industry standard for secure electronic commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

Storage of Financial Information

We only store the very minimum amount of financial information that is absolutely necessary to process your orders. For example, we do not store credit or debit card information as a part of your account settings. Instead, for security reasons, we ask users to reenter their credit or debit card information each time they order. While there is some loss of convenience in this, we also believe this to be a more secure approach.

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Assistance

If you are unable to use our secure server, contact us at orders@dvGarage.com for assistance. This might happen if you use an older browser, or if your machine is protected by a firewall.
