I’ve decided that it is impossible to describe with any kind of exactitude, the talent that is reade MCCARDELL. he is so good that he makes me want to do terrible, dangerous things to myself, just to balance the scales of the universe. I would slit my wrists with a comb, he’s so good. jab lemon-soaked needles into my pupils. I would go to the store, buy myself a bottle of that nantucket juice, break open the bottle and dig with the broken bits of glass at the sensitive area beneath my fingernails. reade’s music is so brilliant that I feel the desperate urge to slip my tongue into my toaster and set it to ‘darkest.’ as soon as I’m done writing this I’m going to use an apple peeler to slowly remove all the skin from both of my shins. and when you’re done listening to all that he has to offer, I’m sure you will join me
